Dawn Wesselby

Dawn Wesselby is a mixed media artist with a leaning towards ceramics as she is fascinated by its versatile and earthy nature.  Her work is currently focussed on the forgotten nature of the divine feminine.  Inspired by ancient goddess forms such as the Venus of Willendorf and Venus of Holhe Fels, she seeks to recreate representations of the ancient goddesses.

More recently she created a contextual piece called 160+ which focussed on the deaths of women killed by men in 2018 representing the 160 plus women who were murdered and telling their stories.
