Grantham Arts CIC aims to support and facilitate artists of all ages. We feel it is important to inspire young creatives and will have various activities happening in the school holidays. Check this page for what is on and when.
If you would like us to arrange a special session for your child and a group of friends, perhaps to celebrate a birthday, then do get in touch to discuss options. We are just across the courtyard from Grantham House so we can organise catering via their cafe to make it extra special.

Pinch Pot Animals
Suitable for ages 10 - 16
A fun afternoon session creating an animal of your choice.
In this session you will learn how to make a pinch pot and how to join two together to make a body. From here you can let your imagination run riot, will you choose to make a lovely pig like our smiling friend in the picture, or perhaps you'd prefer something more exotic like an elephant? The choice is yours.
Price £15 per child to include all materials, demonstration, support and firing for collection at a later date. Please note, clay can take a couple of weeks to dry before we are able to fire it.

Create with Nature using acrylic inks
Suitable for ages 10 - 16
Spend some time in the beautiful gardens of Grantham House, gathering leaves and interesting items from nature to bring back to the classroom and get creative, or bring your own from home.
We will be using acrylic inks to explore colour and composition using your found natural objects
£10 per child
Sessions are 10 am - 12 pm
