Installation by Grantham Arts CIC for the Belton House Literary Festival
Following on from our first stage of the Build a Book, we are now delighted to welcome Diana Ali (https://www.dianaali.com). Diana will lead you into the contextual aspect of the Installation, looking at books you have loved or have changed your life and creating a letter or review to form part of the installation.
Booking is essential as space is limited.
We have been making a giant book at The Studio and this is now almost complete. We need your help to expand on the work created so far so we can make the installation a true celebration of literature.
You can still just pop in to see us downstairs to write down your favourite book, author, a quote etc. We have plenty of strips of paper and pens for you to leave details of your favourite author or book(s). Come with friends or just pop in for ten minutes to see us and jot down your contribution whether it is a classic or a modern novel or maybe even a text book that changed your life.

Belton House Library
We are working with the staff and volunteers at the National Trust at Belton House and the University of East Anglia to bring unseen books to life as part of the literary festival. Five artists will be interpreting information about a variety of books not available to the public to give you an insight in what the books contain.
