See something you like but not on a day you can attend? Do you have a group of friends that would like to arrange a bespoke art session? Perhaps there is something you would love to learn but we're not showing a class on it yet? Are you an artist that would like to run a workshop at The Studio? Needle Felting Workshops
Enjoy a relaxing afternoon of needle felting and learn the basics skills required to create beautiful pumpkin sculpture. There will be a selection of colours to choose from, so have fun designing your own wooly pumpkin.
This workshop is suitable for all adults and children over 10 year old. All children must be accompanied by an adult. £43
Activating the Surface with Mary Sleigh
24-25th October
We shall start the workshop by using inspiration from 20th century artists. During the workshop we shall build layers of colour, marks and textures and include stitch and found objects if desired to create landscapes that have a lively personal feel. We shall explore possible ways of working allowing for change and the unexpected. Individual approaches and a willingness to try something new will be encouraged.
